Looked at zafira's but in comparison a hell of a lot more expensive & we could only really find 1.9 petrol engines which cost a fortune & tax is astronomical! Others to consider: Picasso's from Citroen. 4008s I think from Peugeot.

Hi Howard..I used to tow with the 4x4 version the RX4 scenicsame engine..I towed a smallish 2 berth and a smallish 4 berth..both vans weighed about a ton fully loaded.and there were no problems at all with the towing capability..returned about 34 mpg towingBit heavier car I know..hope its some help.
